Both Bands will feature international renowned Bass Trombonist Douglas Yeo in several featured solo items throughout the evening, as well as joining together with both bands in a massed band finale. The concert came about unfortunately, due to a last minute hitch, in which the Natural State Band were due to feature in a concert with the UK's favourite charity band, the all-girl "Boobs & Brass", who to date have raised nearly £70,000 in aid of Breast Cancer awareness. The Thoresby Band were delighted to have the opportunity to step into the breach and the hastily arranged concert is now in full organizational swing. All is not lost however, as a selection of the ladies will be on hand, to raise the awareness of Breast Cancer Research on the day.
