Joe AlessiAs part of the International Associates programme, the Barbican and Guildhall School of Music and Drama will be hosting masterclasses with the New York Philharmonic, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam and Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestras, alongside their concerts in the Barbican and across East London during 2012. These masterclasses will provide Guildhall School musicians with a unique opportunity to work with leading orchestral and jazz musicians.

For trombonists, an unmissable event is the masterclass with New York Philharmonic Orchestra principal trombone, Joe Alessi at 10:00am on 16 February 2012, which takes place at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the Lecture Recital Room.

Admission is free and open to all.
