Jeremy Price (born 1970) studied at Birmingham Conservatoire and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has since followed a career as a freelance trombonist and jazz educator. As a performer Jeremy has worked with, among others, Stan Sulzmann, Mike Gibbs, Randy Brecker, Ken Wheeler, Billy Cobham and David Murray and is also a member of the London Jazz Orchestra and has worked for London Sinfonietta and the London Philharmonic Orchestra's Renga Ensemble. On the session scene, Jeremy has played for Tony Bennett, Robbie Williams and Jessye Norman. As an educator, Jeremy is the author of the Associated Board's Jazz Ensemble series Jazz Works and has also written material for International Music Press. He is a frequent guest tutor at residential jazz courses at home and abroad, although Jeremy's main occupation today is Head of Jazz Studies at Birmingham Conservatoire.
