Kerry has a first class honours degree in music and is currently a postgraduate research student studying contemporary trombone technique. She works as a brass teacher, both privately and in two schools in Cumbria, as well as fulfilling the role of senior teacher for the music for schools foundation.
Kerry comes from a brass band background and is a former member of the Leyland band. She currently plays for Warrington-based big band Dr Jazz and the Cheshire Cats. Kerry lives in Crewe with her husband, Dan, and two young boys, Alex and James.
