2012 BTS National Trombone Festival, Cardiff

This year, the British Trombone Society National Trombone Festival is held on the weekend of 26-27 May at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. As for all BTS events, entry is reduced for members of the Society, so if you are planning to attend and have not already done so, join the BTS today!

The event runs from 9.30am to 8.00pm on each day and is open to any trombone players across the country. Please contact the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama Box Office for more details and to book your place. Fees are £20 BTS members and £40 non-BTS members and include all events listed in the programme. 18.30 Concert in the DS hall featuring Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama Brass Band and Bob Childs, Don Lusher competition winner, Stephen Sykes, Davur Juul Magnussen, Chris Williams, Simon Minshall, Delegates’ Trombone Choir and the Professional Trombone Ensemble & Nigel Seaman.

If you are planning to attend the BTS National Trombone Festival (26-27 May) in Cardiff, here are some ideas about accommodation to help you plan your stay.

The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama has an arrangement with Holiday Inn situated on Castle Street in the grounds of Cardiff Arms Park overlooking Cardiff Castle, Bute Park and the Millennium Stadium. It is a 6-7 minute walk to the College.

Discounted charges are as follows:
