Bones Apart are giving a lunchtime recital at the Apex, 1 Charter Square, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 3FD. Starting at 1.00 pm. Tickets are £7 and £5.

This year, the British Trombone Society National Trombone Festival is held on the weekend of 26-27 May at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. As for all BTS events, entry is reduced for members of the society, so if you are planning to attend and have not already done so, join the BTS today!

The event runs from 9.30am to 8.00pm on each day and is open to any trombone players across the country. Please contact the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama Box Office for more details and to book your place. Fees are £20 BTS members and £40 non-BTS members and include all events listed in the programme. If you are planning to come to the British Trombone Society day (26-27 May) in Cardiff, here are some ideas about accommodation to help you plan your stay.

The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama has an arrangement with the Hilton which is two minutes’ walk from the College. The Hilton charges £90 for room only, i.e. no breakfast.
