BTS 2006 AGM announced

The British Trombone Society will hold its Annual General Meeting on Sunday 8 October 2006 in Northamptonshire. All members are most welcome to help plan future activities and developments and to consider the work of the BTS over the last year.

Warburton playing Cameos

Bass trombonist Jonathan Warburton will be performing the Gordon Jacob piece Cameos accompanied by the Phoenix Concert Band in North London in a month’s time.

Rosolino radio feature

Frank Rosolino will be featured on BBC Radio 3 in an hour-long programme including conversation with Scott Stroman this Friday afternoon.

Rosolino had a star-studded career as jazz trombonist and Hollywood recording artist in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Featured with the Stan Kenton and Gene Krupa bands, he is also well-known to trombonists for his Tutti’s Trombones contribution.
