RPO Brass open rehearsal

Open Rehearsal takes place this weekend as part of the Visit London campaign, allowing the public to experience music, theatre and dance for free across the capital. This includes several of the London orchestras and the RPO Brass Ensemble, who can be heard rehearse on Friday afternoon for their evening concert of opera highlights.

  • LSO/Zhang rehearse Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring and Steve Reich’s Three Movements.
  • Philharmonia/Dohnányi rehearse Weber’s Overture Der Freischütz, Beethoven’s Violin Concerto and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8 in G major.
  • RPO/Gatti rehearse Prokofiev’s Symphony No.1 ‘Classical’, Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and Elgar’s Enigma Variations.
