BTS Trombone Choir Competition 2020 – CANCELLED

Regrettably this competition has been cancelled due to a lack of entries.
The British Trombone Society invites applications for the BTS Trombone Choir Competition to be held at Huddersfield University, Queensgate, Huddersfield HD1 3DH, on Sunday, 15 March 2020.
Categories
There are three categories of entry:
College — trombone choirs made up of players from recognised musical education establishments.
Youth — trombone choirs whose members are all under the age of 18.
Community — amateur trombone players, or players who do not fall into the above categories.
Repertoire
Trombone choirs should select their own repertoire for a programme not to exceed 20 minutes in duration.
General Conditions:
College Trombone Choirs must be made up entirely from students from the entering institutions.
Choirs must contain a minimum of eight players.
Places for the competition are limited to eight. Places will be allocated in order of receipt of entry.
When all eight places are filled, any further entries will be added to a reserve list.
