British Music on the BBC

Head over to the BBC iPlayer to hear works by Dan Jenkins and Simon Wills.

Penny Gore presents performances by the BBC Symphony Orchestra. There's new British music recorded at the Maida Vale Studios, the BBC Singers join for Brett Dean's Gesualdo-inspired Carlo, plus Beethoven's Symphony no. 4 in Bad Kissingen, and in the lead up to Radio 3's Folk Connections weekend, soprano Ailish Tynan performs Judith Weir's Natural History - a setting of folk poetry taken from the collection of Taoist texts ascribed to the famous Chinese philosopher Chuang-Tzu.
