Chris Houlding in Cardiff

Brass stars are visiting Cardiff this Autumn, with the Royal Welsh College hosting recitals from Chris Houlding and the Ni Ensemble.
Chris Houlding has been Principal Trombone of Opera North for more than twenty years before leaving to take up residence in Germany last year. A Senior Tutor of the RNCM and now Professor at Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, Chris will perform a lunchtime recital on 2nd October.
The Ni Ensemble is a Luxembourg-based brass quintet whose members come together from positions in orchestras and chamber ensembles around the world. In 2006 they won the International Brass Ensembles Competition at Passau. They will perform a lunchtime recital at the RWCMD on 6th November.
