The BBC invites all brass players to take part in a performance with the BBC Symphony brass players in and around the Royal Festival Hall in London later this month. As part of the launch of their "Light Fantastic" celebration of light music, the massed brass forces will play a new fanfare by Anne Dudley.

"We're searching for brass players of all ages and levels of ability to join members of the BBC SO to kick off the Light Fantastic Music Festival at the Southbank Centre on Friday 24th June. Whatever you play and however long you've been playing, you're invited to join hundreds of musicians to fill up the Southbank terraces, and perform a sparkling new fanfare by composer Anne Dudley!

Everyone who plays a brass instrument is welcome to take part"
