Stephen Sykes solo on Friday Night is Music Night

Trombone soloist Stephen Sykes will be performing as guest soloist with conductor Martin Yates and the BBC Concert Orchestra live on this evening's Friday Night is Music Night, the world's longest-running live music programme on radio gathers a huge weekly following and Stephen is delighted to have been given such a wonderful opportunity to perform to such a wide audience. His solo performance this evening will include Moules' arrangement of Why did I choose you?, the third movement from Nino Rota's Trombone Concerto and an arrangement originally made for Gordon Campbell of Stardust. You can tune in to the programme this evening on BBC Radio 2 at 7.30 pm.
