What Do I Get From The BTS?

The BTS magazine, The Trombonist, and website are free to members. The magazine is published online three times per year and contains articles on every facet of trombone playing - from early music to jazz and Avant Garde - and takes account of the needs and interests of all players from the beginner to the advanced player in every style of music.

The Trombonist is well-supported by instrument manufacturers and music publishers and contains the latest information in these areas, plus regional and concert news, reviews and letters pages. Members gain free or reduced charge entry to BTS events with the chance to meet, listen to, and learn from the greatest players and teachers, plus they also have the opportunity to meet hundreds of trombonists from home and abroad. The magazine is accessed via the members' only section of the website [Resources/The Trombonist/The Trombonist Magazine].

Check out [Resources/Links/Member Benefits] to see the list of organisations that currently offer a discount to members of the British Trombone Society. To take advantage, and to see the codes and contact details, you will need to become a member of the BTS, click here to join, and then log in. We hope to bring you more discounts, so please visit the site regularly.

Annual subscriptions to the BTS can be made by Direct Debit, BACS transfer, PayPal and Credit/Debit Card.

NB: Although payment made by PayPal is immediate, all membership subscriptions and renewals are processed manually. Please allow 14-21 days to process your application after payment is made.
