Pete Smith, RIP

The BTS is sad to report the passing of Pete Smith.

Pete contributed vastly to the trombone with his amazing writing, including the groundbreaking 'Bones Galore' album. As a trombone player he was featured with the bands of Stan Tracey, Kenny Wheeler, BBC Big Band and also working with Mel Torme and Tony Bennett. 

Pete's funeral will take place on the 9th October at Eden Park Crematorium 14.45 with a wake following at Club Langley, Hawsbrook Lane, Beckenham.
