Trombonanza massed blow for young players

Written By: David Read Comments: 0

Trombonanza would like to invite trombonists to a "Massed Blow" which follows on from the success of the first event last year. Last time we had more than 20 trombonists come along & play and it led to the performance of Junior Trombonanza in the senior group's major concert in May.

Those trombonists who are roughly Grade 3 standard and above will join with the main Trombonanza group. Assuming we have enough interest we will also set-up a Beginner Trombonanza group (any trombonist welcome who can play more than 5 notes-ie. low B flat to F) and this session will last 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

Tuesday 24th Nov 2009
7.30-9.30pm Trombonanza Juniors (Grade 3+) with main Trombonanza
7.30-8.30pm Trombonanza Beginner group (5 notes)
Watford Boys School, Hertfordshire

We will be playing through a wide range of pieces to suit all tastes. These pieces are written for anything from 4-12 trombone parts (including alto & bass trombones) so if you have an alto and you don't have many chances to play it, bring it along with you.

If you are able to make it (to give us an idea how many people we need to prepare music for) please send me an email. Any queries please feel free to get in touch. Looking forward to hearing from you,
