On Saturday 31st January, at Regent Hall, London, three of the UK’s leading trombonists - Peter Moore, Andy Wood and Mark Nightingale will be performing a special one-off concert, celebrating the expressive power and versatility of the trombone.

This debut performance brings together the trio in collaboration with a handpicked trombone octet, featuring eight of the country’s finest players, for a programme of premieres.

The concert will feature arrangements by Mark Nightingale, including his ‘West Side Story Suite,' a vibrant and imaginative reworking of Bernstein’s iconic score, as well as his epic ‘Porgy and Bess Suite’ by Gershwin.

The evening will see the world premiere of ‘Trivergence,’ written by Mark Nightingale, exploring the unique strengths of each of the soloists across three diverse movements in a richly textured dialogue with the octet.

This event promises a compelling showcase of artistry, innovation, and collaboration - an unmissable opportunity to hear some of the UK’s foremost brass musicians in a programme that pushes the boundaries of trombone performance.
