Posted 31 January 2026 by Chris Sowerby
We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of former BTS member Nathaniel Dye MBE. A regular at BTS events, his courage, honesty, and unwavering sense of humour, even in the hardest moments, touched so many of us. His advocacy, on issues ranging from music education to the assisted dying bill, inspired meaningful change, leaving behind an enduring legacy.
If you are in or around London on 4 February, please consider attending Nathaniel’s event NOT TODAY CANCER at Kings Place, an evening of music, comedy and talks. Proceeds will add to the £50k plus that Nathaniel has already raised for Macmillan Cancer Care through his many remarkable exploits, including running the London Marathon while playing a trombone.
